A classic « Maranathon » – Monthly Maranathons in Medjugorje :

The « Maranathons » in Medjugorje are intended to be intense times where it will be possible to fully experience a week of pilgrimage/retreat in warm conditions.

Accommodation will be in our ” Mission House “, the « Maranatha Conversion » house in Medjugorje. We only have a few rooms, so we’ll be offering small groups, which will enable us to share family and community time, but also to enjoy simple meals prepared with authentic products, mostly bought from local producers and farmers.

We want to set up a new way of responding to the challenges of the world, following the messages and requests made by the Virgin Mary in Her various shrines and places of apparitions. We’re starting to use our « collective intelligence » to find solutions we haven’t yet seen or considered.

  • Want to celebrate «ordinary» yet exceptional women who in the name of their faith, regardless of their spiritual tradition, have committed themselves to propose concrete solutions to concrete problems. We will listen to their inspiring testimonies and look for ways to help them continue their projects and why not get involved with them.
  • Want to deepen their life of faith by living an extremely dynamic week of teachings, prayers, songs, fasts… in the shrine of Medjugorje.
  • Seek to enter into the mystery of the Invisible, to have an encounter with the Love of God.

  • Are not ashamed to have a childlike faith…

In 1531 the event « Our Lady of Guadalupe » changed the history of the New World at a time when the indigenous people believed that the end of the world had arrived.

The Virgin Mary appeared to the humble Indian, St. Juan Diego, and miraculously imprinted her image on the seer’s cloak. The cactus fiber, the fabric from which the cloak – his cloak, called a Tilma – was made, should have dissolved five centuries ago, but the cloak is still there, its bright colors as if it had just been given to us, its mysteries still unexplainable.

This cloak is not only a miracle in itself, but the image of the Virgin Mary imprinted on it makes us all, through time, witnesses of Her presence among us.
Millions of us believe that the Virgin Mary has appeared in Medjugorje since the end of 1981.

Whether in Lourdes, Fatima or Medjugorje, we must believe the visionaries, we have no proof that what they tell us is the truth. In Mexico City on December 12, 1531, by miraculously imprinting Her image on the cloak – the Tilma – of St. Juan Diego, the Virgin Mary made us all « visionaries »…

The Maranatha Conversion movement has chosen Our Lady of Guadalupe to be its patroness and we believe that it is essential to participate in making Her known, loved and venerated wherever She is not yet known. Since it is God who has given the world the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we believe that it is important that Her image be present in all the shrines of the world that will join the Maranatha Conversion movement in the prayer for the healing of humanity, the healing of the human heart.

On December 12, 2031 the world will celebrate 500 years since the miraculous image was given. To prepare for this great event, motivated faithful felt called to propose a Novena of nine years where between 2023 and 2031, each year we will propose 3 dates of pilgrimage/retreat/novena dedicated especially
to « Our Lady of Guadalupe » : two will take place in Medjugorje and one in the Holy Land* and each time the pilgrims present will be able to make a solemn consecration to the Virgin Mary in front of a life-size relic that has touched the original image.

Some say that the « Guadalupe » event is the most important thing that happened after Pentecost, so we will have a novena that will end with the Consecration on the day of Pentecost and another one from December 3 to 13 that will end with a Consecration that will end with a Consecration that will take place on the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe December 12.

*As soon as it is possible to go there on pilgrimage again.

The importance of the Holy Land is undeniable for all believers and we will therefore propose each year a great pilgrimage/novena which will take place in the Holy Land, the Land of Jesus, between August 6 and 16. We will end with a Consecration on the day of the Assumption. This is particularly symbolic because during this novena we will pray each day in the Holy Land with the message given by the Virgin Mary in another shrine in the world.

The idea will be not only to impregnate ourselves with these messages, which we sometimes do not know enough about, but also to respond together in prayer to the recommendations and messages given to the world.

In Medjugorje on August 2, 2011, the Virgin Mary gave a message to which we respond with all our heart by these proposals of 3 annual novenas during 9 years, between 2023 and 2031 :

« Dear children, today I call you to be reborn in prayer, and through the Holy Spirit to become a new people with my Son; a people who know that if they have lost God, they have lost themselves; a people who know that with God, in spite of all the suffering and trials, they are safe and saved. I call you to come together as the family of God and be strengthened by the strength of the Father.

As individuals, my children, you cannot stop the evil that wants to begin to rule the world and destroy it. But, according to God’s will, all together, with my Son, you can change everything and heal the world.

I call you to pray with all your heart for your Shepherds, because my Son has chosen them. I thank you. »

Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Empress of the Americas and the Philippines, She was also declare the Star of the New Evangelization by St. John Paul II.

Her sweet and beautiful face of mixed race invites us, through time, to join Her in prayer for the world.

SPEAKERS :

On May 12, 2019 the Vatican authorized official pilgrimages to the parish of Medjugorje. For the first time at the 2019 Youth Festival many bishops and even cardinals were able to officially come and participate and teach at the festival.

The many speakers at this festival are always exciting but by choice of the festival organizers they are only revealed as the festival progresses. These priests, bishops, archbishops, cardinals or simple laymen will make us enter into the beauty of the true and right devotion to the Virgin Mary and also understand the importance of the synergy between « intelligence of faith » and « expression of faith ».
Contemporary witnesses will share with us what they are living today and will tell us about the trials they have had to undergo in the past and how the Lord, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, has helped them to overcome all difficulties.
